Today’s PlayStation State of Play opened with our first look at gameplay in *Saros*, the next game from Returnal developer Housemarque. The trailer showcased intense combat, a unique revival mechanic, and confirmed that *Saros* will launch on PS5 on March 20, 2026.
The new trailer provided both story and gameplay footage of this exciting sci-fi adventure. Starring Rahul Kohli as the protagonist, *Saros* follows a character isolated on a hostile alien planet.
Much like Returnal, the game centers around battling against alien forces in a foreign world. However, *Saros* introduces a distinctive gameplay element: a mechanic that allows players to revive themselves after falling in battle, adding a fresh twist to the survival experience.
