Hades 2 begins with players starting out using the Witch’s Staff, but before long, you’ll want to explore other weapon options. The good news is that there are several weapons to unlock, each featuring unique attack patterns along with their own strengths and weaknesses.
These weapons can be accessed in the preparation area before you venture into Erebus. To find this prep area, head to the lower-right section of the hub area, past the Cauldron and other NPCs. At the center of this area is the Silver Pool—a large circle surrounded by several smaller circles.
By interacting with the central circle, you can open a menu displaying the different Nocturnal Arms and Gathering Tools available to you. Each weapon comes with a different purchase price, with early options costing Silver to unlock. As you progress through the game and buy new weapons, additional choices will be added to this portal.
This location serves multiple purposes beyond just weapon selection. It’s also where you can unlock and equip Arcana Cards, collect and upgrade Keepsakes, and eventually enhance your weapons through Aspect upgrades.
Since you will pass through this area every time you head out on a run, take a moment to ensure your build is exactly how you want it before diving back into the action.
