Gaza-Bound Flotilla Resumes Journey from Crete Toward Gaza
After spending two days anchored near Crete, the 40-vessel flotilla has set sail again, continuing its journey toward Gaza. Italian and Spanish warships are accompanying the flotilla nearby to monitor and support its passage.
Among the participants, Greta Thunberg and a crew member were spotted flashing victory signs from their ship. This vessel is part of the Global Sumud Flotilla, which aims to reach Gaza and break Israel’s naval blockade.
The flotilla departed from Crete island, Greece, on September 25, 2025.
