**Thieves Steal Mobile Phones Inside Indore’s MY Hospital, Caught by Alert Patient Attendants**
Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Despite tight security measures and entry being restricted through a single gate, thieves managed to infiltrate the Maharaja Yeshwantrao (MY) Hospital premises and reach the fourth floor to steal mobile phones.
The hospital administration had recently enhanced security by closing several entry points, allowing access only through one main entrance. At this gate, attendants are thoroughly questioned and required to show ID cards or entry passes before being permitted inside.
According to police reports, a case has been registered against Narendra Singh of Gandhi Nagar and Saurabh Singh based on a complaint filed by Vijay Dholi, a resident of Mandsaur.
Vijay explained to the police that his mother, Dhapubai, had been admitted to the fourth floor of MY Hospital following injuries sustained in a road accident. On Friday, while charging his mobile phone in the patient ward, Vijay noticed two men standing nearby whom he assumed were attendants of another patient. However, when he returned from the restroom, his mobile phone was missing.
On Sunday, the same two men were again spotted roaming inside the hospital premises. With assistance from other attendants and hospital staff, Vijay apprehended both suspects and handed them over to the police.
The swift actions of vigilant patient attendants and staff have been praised for helping to maintain safety within the hospital.
