MANILA, Philippines – Filinvest Development Corp. (FDC) is set to merge eight of its hospitality units into a single company as part of its efforts to streamline operations.
The Gotianun-led conglomerate disclosed on Tuesday that its board of directors had approved the move, anticipating that the continued improvement in domestic tourism will drive economic growth.
The merger will be carried out under Filinvest Hospitality Corp. (FHC), consolidating the various hospitality businesses into one entity to enhance efficiency and focus.
