Quest Overview
To complete Greasing Her Palms, you’ll need to visit the following three locations:
– The Dam
– The Buried City
– The Spaceport
At each location, you must find a specific area based on vague descriptions. The most confusing task is to “scope out the rocket thrusters” on the Spaceport, so we’ll start there.
Where to Find the Rocket Thrusters on Spaceport
The rocket thrusters you need to visit are about 150 meters southwest of the Rocket Assembly point of interest. These thrusters are the furthest from the building, located closer to Control Tower A6 and Container Storage than to the Rocket Assembly itself.
You’re specifically looking for the southwesternmost thruster lying on its side within some large mechanical braces. If you approach from the east, another derelict thruster will be behind you, and Control Tower A6 will be visible on your right.
All you need to do is walk up to this thruster and stay near it for a few seconds to complete this quest step. You don’t need to survive the entire raid—just make it to the thruster alive, and you can mark this step as complete.
Where to Find the Locked Room in Water Treatment Control on Dam Battlegrounds
This task and the final one carry a higher PvP risk since Water Treatment Control is often a hotspot for conflict due to its central location and high-quality loot.
To find the locked room:
1. Enter the main level of Water Treatment (avoid the roof).
2. Head through the door in the southern wall.
3. Continue down the hallway, clearing any ARC enemies you encounter.
You will need the Dam Surveillance Key to open the locked door at the end of the hall, so be sure to bring it. Keep the key in your Safe Pocket to avoid losing it if you die—otherwise, you’ll have to find another one in the wild.
Once you open the door and enter, this quest step will be completed. There’s no need to survive after this, but take note—the loot behind the door is valuable, including rare item lockers, electronics spawns, and even a weapons case.
Where to Find the Barricaded Area on Floor 6 of the Space Travel Building on Buried City
This part of the quest is challenging. The Space Travel Building is located in the center of the map and known for high-value loot, making it a hotspot for PvP encounters. Come well-equipped and ready for combat.
One safer approach is to cross a platform from the Parking Garage to the northeast of the building. This route offers good cover and multiple escape options, allowing you to assess how active the fighting is in the objective area.
Once inside the building:
1. Head to the northwestern part and find the stairs leading up to the sixth floor.
2. Proceed east down the main hallway until you reach a barricaded door.
3. Pass through the door, and the objective will be complete.
Turning in the Quest
After completing all three objectives, return to Celeste at Speranza to turn in the quest and claim your reward.
