Tonight on The Stevetendo Show, we’re going old school with some Mario Kart 8 Deluxe! It’s a Shacker’s Choice night, so you have Doggoism to thank for getting Mario Kart 8 Deluxe onto the show this evening.
For those who don’t know, you can watch various Shacknews shows on Twitch and save up chat points. Once you’ve saved enough, you can spend them to pick a game for me to play on The Stevetendo Show. Doggoism has requested that I jump right into online races with no practice or warm-up, so that’s exactly what we’ll do.
Playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe without practice could go great—or very poorly. I have a feeling it’s going to take some time to shake off all the skills from Mario Kart World now that we’re back playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe again.
