Chad Baker-Mazara scores career-high 26 to lead Southern Cal to 114-83 victory over Manhattan

Chad Baker-Mazara scored 20 of his career-high 26 points in the first half to lead seven Southern California players in double figures, propelling the Trojans to a commanding 114-83 victory over Manhattan.

Baker-Mazara made 7 of 13 shots, including 3 of 4 from beyond the arc, and was perfect from the free-throw line, sinking all nine of his attempts. His performance helped the Trojans (2-0) put up their highest point total since 1998. In addition to his scoring, he contributed seven rebounds.

On the Manhattan side, junior guard Jaden Winston delivered a career-high 29 points to pace the Jaspers (1-1). The fifth-year senior shot 9 of 14 from the field, including three 3-pointers, and was flawless at the foul line, converting all eight of his free throws.
