Authorities are actively searching for a hit-and-run driver following a tragic incident in Oxnard.
On November 8, California Highway Patrol officers responded to a call in an agricultural area on Naumann Road, just south of Etting Road, at approximately 11:52 p.m.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the victim, a 35-year-old man from Oxnard, was walking northbound on Naumann Road when he was struck by a vehicle. The driver fled the scene, leaving the victim critically injured.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about the hit-and-run to come forward and assist with the ongoing investigation.
