Charley Hull aims for a big push after being in contention at The Annika

Charley Hull is eagerly looking forward to clinching a title at The Annika. The English golfer has had an impressive outing this week on the LPGA Tour, and after playing 54 holes, she was tied for tenth place.

Ahead of the event’s final round, Hull shared a picture on her Instagram story expressing her excitement. In the caption, she wrote, “Let’s have a big push on Sunday.”

Hull arrived late at The Annika and was forced to pull out from the pro-am event on Wednesday. She was unable to practice on the course this week but still managed an impressive start. “So I didn’t play the golf course. I had an early practice and managed to wing it round today. Yeah, I felt confident in my game and played pretty well,” she said.

In the second round, Hull shot a 2-under 68. On Saturday, she made three birdies and one bogey, finishing the round at 1-under par. This performance placed her in a tie for tenth alongside Brooke Matthews, Yuna Nishimura, Auston Kim, and Lauren Coughlin.

The final round of The Annika will take place on Sunday, November 16. Charley Hull is set to tee off at 10:29 a.m. on the first tee hole, joining Brooke Matthews and Yuna Nishimura in a group of three. The day’s play will begin at 7 a.m. ET, with Hisako Iwai, Mi Hyang Lee, and Caroline Inglis starting on the first tee.

Tournament third-round leader Linn Grant will tee off at 11:02 a.m. in a group with Jennifer Kupcho and Nataliya Guseva.

This LPGA season, Charley Hull has competed in 14 tournaments and made the cut in 12. She kicked off the season with a T19 finish at the Founders Cup, posting rounds of 68, 72, 66, and 70. She followed that with a T4 finish at the HSBC Women’s World Championship.

Hull was the runner-up at the AIG Women’s Open and claimed victory at the Kroger Queen City Championship. This week, she is aiming for her second win of the season on the LPGA Tour.

Her most recent tournament before The Annika was the LOTTE Championship, where she finished T14 after scoring rounds of 69, 68, 72, and 69.

With her confident play and strong position, Charley Hull is certainly a player to watch as the final round unfolds on Sunday.
