Advance defensive standout Brogan Hawkins has been named as the Stoddard County Activities Association Player of the Year in volleyball. Hawkins also earned SCAA Defensive Player of the Year honors for the second year in a row. A four-year starter at libero for the Lady Hornets, Hawkins had 395 digs and 520 receptions this season as Advance won the SCAA Tournament and took second in the conference’s regular-season standings. Advance coach Erin Hoffman also won SCAA Coach of the Year.
