Saturday presents an opportunity for schools who play in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS). That includes the Samford Bulldogs who travel to College Station, TX to face the No. 3 ranked Texas A&M Aggies. With the FCS vs. Power 4 matchups comes a hefty payday for the FCS schools, however, the Bulldogs may not get as big of a payday as schools the Aggies will have faced this season. According to the Austin American Statesman, Texas A&M will be paying $3. 705 million to their non-conference opponents they’ll welcome to field. Samford will be paid the least, a total of $550,000 for their visit to Kyle Field on Saturday. UTSA was paid $1. 5 million, and Utah State was paid $1. 65 million for their game. Samford and Texas A&M kickoff at 11 a. m. on SEC Network+.
