Thousands Advised To Remain Indoors In Oregon, California

Thousands of residents across parts of Oregon and California have been advised to stay inside on Wednesday amid concerns over air pollution. The Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) AirNow map shows air quality in the “moderate” to “unhealthy” range across several counties as of 3 a. m. ET including Josephine and Curry counties in Oregon, and Del Norte and Siskiyou counties in California. In areas with “unhealthy” air quality, residents are advised to reduce exposure to air by choosing lighter, less arduous activities-like walking rather than running-and spending less time outside. This is a developing story. More to follow.
