Greene lived at the Springtree Apartments, where Duncan also resided. At the time of his arrest in February 2024, Greene was already on probation for previous drug convictions, per WIS News 10. Why did Eric Greene kill Morgan Duncan? Investigators concluded that Duncan’s murder was triggered by a dispute over a $300 drug debt owed to Greene. Duncan allegedly attempted to reason with Greene, assuring him that he would repay the money after receiving his next paycheck, according to accounts in Missing: Dead or Alive.
