Several suspects facing charges after police recover meth, cocaine in Roslindale drug bust

Boston police arrested four suspects Monday and recovered two kilograms of methamphetamine and cocaine in connection with a drug investigation in Roslindale. Officers were executing search warrants in the area of 24 Colgate Rd., according to a statement. The investigation was targeting Shyronn Johnson, 34, of Roslindale, who allegedly had a warrant issued out of West Roxbury District Court for failing to register as a sex offender. Johnson was spotted exiting the apartment building, and a struggle ensued as officers arrested him, police said. After securing Johnson in handcuffs, they searched him and found a plastic bag of crack cocaine. Police then searched the apartment, where they found and arrested Nicole Bilunas, 43, of Brockton; Hector Acevedo, 46, of Malden; and Wilgen Noble Brea, 44, of Roslindale. Officers also recovered 1, 000 grams of methamphetamine, 1, 055 grams of pink cocaine, 54 grams of cocaine, and 80 grams of fentanyl, according to police. All four suspects were charged with two counts of trafficking over 1, 000 grams of a Class B drug, with one count each for the recovered methamphetamine and cocaine, police said. Johnson, Bilunas, and Acevedo were also charged with trafficking over 20 grams of a Class A drug, and Johnson and Bilunas were charged with possession of a Class B drug with intent to distribute. The suspects are expected to be arraigned in West Roxbury District Court at a later date, according to police.
