Will Taylor Swift attend Chiefs-Broncos game to support Travis Kelce?

Retirement rumors are running rampant, and the Kansas City Chiefs’ upcoming game against the Denver Broncos could be Travis Kelce’s last appearance at Arrowhead Stadium. Fans are eager to know if Taylor Swift will be in attendance tonight to support her fiancé. All signs seem to point to yes, given the significance this game could hold in Kelce’s career.

Following the Chiefs’ narrow 16-13 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, the team is officially out of playoff contention for the first time in a decade. After the December 14 game, Kelce declined to speak with the media, sparking an uproar among fans. NFL players are required to be available for media interviews at least once during the day following each game, either in the locker room or at a podium. While players have been fined in the past for refusing media access, Kelce was not fined in this instance.

According to The Athletic’s Jesse Newell, Kelce told reporters, “It’s not the time. I’ll catch you guys during the week.” This marks the second consecutive week that Kelce has denied media access, as he also refrained from speaking to reporters following the Chiefs’ 20-10 loss to the Houston Texans.

Although Kelce has avoided the media, he has opened up on his podcast, *New Heights*, which he co-hosts with his brother, Jason Kelce. Discussing his feelings after the back-to-back losses, he said:

> “You put in all this work and hope that it pays off. And right now, it’s just for whatever reason, man, it’s little things. I feel like I’ve always had the answers in years past. This year I just can’t find them. I keep thinking if I show up to work and I put in the work and I fix the issues through my practice habits and through perfecting the game plan and my fundamentals. It’s just not coming together like it has before.”

Given the importance of the game against the Broncos and the fact that it will be played at Arrowhead Stadium, many believe Taylor Swift may well make an appearance to support Kelce.

In addition to the swirling retirement rumors, Kelce’s two-year, $34.25 million contract extension ends this season, meaning he will have a major decision to make early next year.

The Kansas City Chiefs take on the Denver Broncos at 8:15 p.m. tonight. The game will be broadcast on NBC and available for streaming on Prime Video.
