**Heavy Rain and Cloudbursts Wreak Havoc Across Uttarakhand**
Earlier this week, on Tuesday night, cloudbursts and intense rainfall caused widespread devastation across Dehradun and other parts of Uttarakhand. The calamity resulted in 15 deaths, 16 people reported missing, and nearly 900 individuals stranded.
According to the Uttarakhand Disaster Management Authority, Dehradun recorded the highest casualties with 13 deaths, while Nainital and Pithoragarh each reported one fatality. Three people were injured during these events.
