The Bruins, now 6-0, are preparing for another trip to Las Vegas after sweeping North Carolina and South Florida in the WBCA Challenge. Kiki Rice added 17 points, while Lauren Betts and Lena Bilic also contributed significantly. Southern, now 1-4, struggled against UCLA’s strong defense, trailing 49-9 at halftime. The Bruins shut out the Jaguars 27-0 in the second quarter. Southern was led by DeMya Porter with eight points.
