MANILA, Philippines—National University managed to avoid a second-half collapse and secured an 84-68 victory over Far Eastern University in the UAAP Season 88 men’s basketball tournament on Saturday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The Bulldogs had built a double-digit lead earlier in the game but briefly lost their momentum before regaining their form in the fourth quarter. This strong finish helped NU improve their record to 2-0 for the season.
