The manner in which the government has managed communication and public relations has resonated deeply, particularly within the Jewish community I grew up in.
In a recent incident highlighting the tension, armed police officers were seen engaging with members of the Jewish community near Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation synagogue in Crumpsall, north Manchester, on October 2, 2025.
