Third is social acceptability, because one has to abide by the principles laid down by our society.”

Hailing from a middle-class family in Delhi with no connections in the film industry, Lakshya shared his story of moving to Mumbai with dreams of becoming an actor. He said, “So-called outsider reached Mumbai with dreams, a clear goal and objective of establishing myself as an actor. So is the character of Aasman in *BOB*. Yet there are slight differences in the situations and obstacles posed to me as an individual and as a character.”

Lakshya also spoke about his family’s reaction to his success. “They are joyous, celebrating the achievement, and feel uplifted too. Yet my mother, who practices Buddhism, always pays her gratitude to the universe for the most awaited event that has happened in life. They always emphasize that success is an ongoing journey, not a final outcome.”
