GENEVA (AP) — The World Trade Organization is sharply raising its forecast for trade growth in goods this year after an unexpectedly strong first half.
This growth has been driven by rising AI-related purchases, front-loaded imports in the U.S. due to tariff fears, and robust trade activity in the developing world.
The Geneva-based trade body announced Tuesday that its economists are increasing their prediction of trade growth for the year.

Her expertise will be pivotal in enhancing Pos Malaysias technological capabilities, with a focus on charting the agentic AI roadmap, automating operations, optimising last-mile delivery solutions, improving customer experience through digital platforms, and fortifying cybersecurity measures.
