Veteran striker Denis Puric of Canada and Bosnia has been closely watching the Estupinan twins make their mark in the world’s largest martial arts organization. Admittedly, “The Bosnian Menace” likes what he sees.
Johan Estupinan first started turning heads with his relentless forward pressure and flashy striking. His twin brother, Jordan Estupinan, soon followed, showcasing the same fan-pleasing style that quickly endeared him to the masses.
In a recent interview with the *South China Morning Post* (SCMP), Puric shared what makes the Colombian brothers must-see TV:
“The pressure impresses me. There are a lot of mistakes that they make, I feel like. But I think it’s the pressure that’s helping them get through these fights. They’re great fighters, but there are a lot of mistakes that they make. They’re very open, they’re very wild.”
The Soi Dogs MMA affiliate continued,
“There’s no balance to them. There’s not a lot of balance, but I feel like the pressure is what’s taking these guys, putting a lot of pressure on them is what’s taking them out. But yeah, good fighters, very exciting to watch. I love the twins.”
While the Estupinan twins still have areas to improve—particularly their defense—Puric believes both possess endless potential and are due for big things in ONE Championship.

Denis Puric also weighed in on his upcoming flyweight kickboxing contest against Japanese superstar Takeru Segawa. “The Bosnian Menace” thinks Takeru is underestimating him, as the Japanese fighter remains fixated on former ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon.
Puric told SCMP,
“I think [Takeru is too focused on Rodtang]. That’s definitely what he’s doing, and he’s putting a lot of pressure on himself.”
If that’s the case, the 40-year-old is confident he will make ‘Natural Born Krusher’ pay on November 16 at Ariake Arena.
