I was initially torn on how to bet this game when the line opened at Cowboys -2.5, but I feel confident taking Arizona to cover as 3.5-point underdogs.
For all the firepower the Cowboys’ offense possesses, their defense has struggled all season and is coming off its worst performance of the year against the Broncos. It’s hard to overstate how close the Cardinals have been to a couple of huge wins this season. Plus, they are coming off a bye week, which makes them an even more tempting underdog pick.
Arizona has moved the ball effectively with Jacoby Brissett under center instead of Kyler Murray over the last two games. As long as Brissett — who will be starting again tonight — can avoid turnovers, this should be a tight contest.
Arizona’s underrated defense held the Packers to 27 points and the Seahawks to 23 points recently. I believe they can keep Dallas in check tonight, at least enough for the Cardinals to cover the +3.5 spread.
