While Frankenstein came out this past weekend, it’s still new and fresh enough to drop into this week’s list. The film stars Oscar Isaac as Dr. Victor Frankenstein and boasts a pretty impressive supporting cast including Mia Goth, Ralph Ineson, Charles Dance, Christoph Waltz and Jacob Elordi who plays “The Creature.” With an 86% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes and an even higher 95% “Popcornmeter” (or verified audience) score, this is one you definitely don’t want to miss. The film is an adaptation of the classic gothic horror novel by Mary Shelley and is split into two halves: Victor’s Tale and The Creature’s Tale. Being Eddie – Wednesday, November 12th (Netflix) If you’re a fan of Eddie Murphy, Being Eddie is for you. The documentary looks back on the life and career of the comedian and actor and explores the massive influence he’s had on cinema and comedy. It includes interviews with Murphy himself, as well as a parade of celebrities and filmmakers he’s worked with over the years.
