CMF Headphone Pro announced, coming to India on September 29

Nothing’s affordable sub-brand CMF has teased its first-ever over-the-ear headphones on X. The new headset, named Headphone Pro, will follow CMF’s bright colour scheme, with a formal launch set for September 29.

In the teaser posted on X, the CMF Headphone Pro can be seen in two colours: orange and light green. These shades are similar to CMF’s smartphone colours. In an earlier teaser, CMF had also shown a similar headset in a white shade. The Headphone Pro is expected to come in three colour options.

The Headphone Pro features a striking design, consistent with other CMF products. However, the headset looks quite different from the Nothing Headphone 1, which was released earlier this year. The earpads appear larger compared to the circular-shaped housing of the Headphone 1. There is also prominent “R” branding on the inside of the Headphone Pro’s right earcup, presumably to denote the right side, with an “L” likely on the left earcup.

Interestingly, the headset seems to include a wheel, potentially for adjusting volume. There is also a slider on the device, though its function remains unclear. The Headphone Pro will come with a power button that can also be used for Bluetooth pairing. The headband appears quite slim, which may help reduce the overall weight of the headset.

The CMF Headphone Pro carries the “CMF by Nothing” branding, like other CMF devices. While the launch date is confirmed for September 29, the sub-brand has not yet revealed other specifications or pricing details. However, users can expect the Headphone Pro to be priced significantly lower than the Nothing Headphone 1, which launched in India at Rs 21,999, with a launch day offer bringing the price down to Rs 19,999.

**Nothing Ear (Open) to Launch in India**

In other news, Nothing revealed its first open-ear earbuds, the Ear (Open), in late 2024. Nearly a year later, the Ear (Open) is finally set to go on sale in India.

According to Beebom, the earbuds will be launched during Flipkart’s Big Billion Days sale on September 23. The Nothing Ear (Open) are reportedly priced at Rs 17,999, but users can get them for Rs 9,999 as part of launch day offers.

The Ear (Open) feature 14.2 mm dynamic drivers and an ergonomic design meant to keep users aware of their surroundings, offering an open-ear listening experience.

Stay tuned for more updates on CMF’s Headphone Pro and Nothing’s Ear (Open) as their launch dates approach.
