MANILA, Philippines — The Social Security System (SSS) has officially launched the MySSS Card, which serves a dual function as both an official ID and a debit card.
SSS President and CEO Robert Joseph De Claro stated that the MySSS Card will replace the long-standing Unified Multi-Purpose Identification (UMID) card. In addition to its use as an ID, the card will also operate as a fully functional debit card linked to the holder’s account.
