**UP Yoddhas Secure Narrow Win Against U Mumba to End Pro Kabaddi 2025 League Stage**
UP Yoddhas concluded their Pro Kabaddi 2025 league stage campaign with a hard-fought victory over U Mumba, defeating them 35-23 on Thursday, October 23. This win took Yoddhas to 14 points from 18 matches.
In the match, Surender Gill contributed six raid points, while Shivam Chaudhary was the top raider for UP Yoddhas with seven points. Guman Singh added four raid points to the tally. On the defensive front, skipper Sumit Sangwan led the charge with five tackle points, and Hitesh supported with four tackle points, showcasing an all-round team performance.
For U Mumba, Ajit Chauhan impressed by registering another Super 10 with 11 raid points. Defender Rinku also put in a solid effort, picking up five tackle points. However, despite their individual performances, U Mumba fell short in the end.

As a result of UP Yoddhas’ victory, Telugu Titans secured the last spot in the top four. The Titans currently sit fourth with 20 points and a healthy score difference of +45. U Mumba ended the league stage with 20 points as well but a much lower score difference of +8, which dropped them to sixth position.

Although UP Yoddhas snapped their two-match losing streak with this win, their playoff hopes remain uncertain. With 14 points and a negative score difference of -65, Yoddhas face stiff competition from Patna Pirates, who have the same points but a much better score difference of -5.
If Patna Pirates win their final match, they will claim the last spot in the top eight with 16 points. Even if they lose, unless it is by a significant margin, they will likely remain ahead of UP Yoddhas due to the superior score difference. The back-to-back losses at a critical stage have therefore put UP Yoddhas’ playoff ambitions in jeopardy.
