Comer unleashes on Biden, demands DOJ probe of autopen use in scathing new report

**House Oversight Committee Chair Demands DOJ Investigate Former President Biden’s Autopen Use**

*By Elizabeth Elkind, Fox News*

House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-Ky.) is calling on the Department of Justice (DOJ) to conduct a comprehensive investigation into former President Joe Biden’s use of the autopen for signing official documents.

The committee’s report raises serious concerns about Biden’s cognitive health during his presidency. It states, “Faced with the cognitive decline of President Joe Biden, White House aides at the direction of the inner circle hid the truth about the former president’s condition and fitness for office.”

The report also highlights what it describes as a “haphazard documentation process” surrounding the pardons granted by Biden. According to the committee, this lack of proper documentation casts doubt on whether these decisions were made personally by the former president.

“In the absence of sufficient contemporaneous documentation indicating that cognitively deteriorating President Biden himself made a given executive decision, such decisions do not carry the force of law and should be considered void,” the GOP report asserts.

Chairman Comer urges the DOJ to immediately review all executive actions taken by President Biden from January 20, 2021, through January 19, 2025. The review should emphasize acts of clemency but also encompass all other types of executive decisions.

In addition to questioning who authorized Biden’s executive actions, the report also raises concerns about Hunter Biden’s involvement in the pardon process.
