ASAP Rocky and Margaret Qualley were spotted shooting a Chanel commercial in New York City this week, featuring a charming depiction of a marriage proposal.
Captured in paparazzi photos and several video clips shared by @mickmicknyc, the shoot took place on Tuesday, October 28, in NYC. In one memorable clip, Rocky is seen kneeling and proposing to a surprised Qualley, who promptly celebrates the special, Chanel-promoting moment.
Additional footage reveals the use of breakaway fabric on Rocky, who, at one point, offers a polite “pardon me” to someone off-camera. “Oh, shit,” Rocky is heard saying, followed by, “Pardon me. Can we do it over?”
While details about the Chanel spot have not yet been made public, Complex has reached out to representatives of the French fashion house for more information. This story may be updated as new details emerge.
Margaret Qualley has a history with Chanel, having previously starred in its short film “The Button” last year. That project, a collaboration with pgLang, featured music by Kendrick Lamar.
Looking ahead, Qualley’s 2025 slate includes Richard Linklater’s *Blue Moon* among other projects. She is also married to producer and songwriter Jack Antonoff.
ASAP Rocky, meanwhile, shares three children with his partner, Rihanna. Earlier this month, he told Complex’s Mike DeStefano that their daughter Rocki Irish is his “favorite thing” he’s created this year.
As fans continue to anticipate the release of his long-teased new album *Don’t Be Dumb*, Rocky has been steadily expanding his acting portfolio. His recent roles include parts in Spike Lee’s *Highest 2 Lowest* and Mary Bronstein’s *If I Had Legs I’d Kick You*. Notably, Rocky earned a Gotham Film Awards nomination for *Highest 2 Lowest*.
