Audrey Baker scored in the second overtime as Maine Central Institute earned a spot in the Class C North field hockey championship game by outlasting Piscataquis, 2-1, in a regional semifinal Thursday in Guilford.
Charlotte Peasley also scored in regulation for third-seeded MCI (10-6), while Danielle Armiger made eight saves, including a crucial breakaway stop in the second overtime.
Piscataquis, the No. 2 seed, ends the season with a 12-3-1 record.
