One-Famiy-Owned 1992 Mercedes-Benz 300SE at No Reserve

This 1992 Mercedes-Benz 300SE was originally purchased new by the seller’s father in 1992 and remained in California until 2025. Ownership was then transferred to the seller, and the car was relocated to Nevada.

Since 2024, maintenance work reportedly included replacing an oxygen sensor and the parking brake release mechanism, as well as servicing the brakes and changing the fluids. The vehicle is powered by a 3.2-liter inline-six engine paired with a five-speed automatic transmission.

The exterior is finished in Cabernet Red Metallic, complemented by Parchment leather upholstery inside. This W140 300SE features 16″ Alamak alloy wheels mounted with Yokohama tires in the front and BFGoodrich tires at the rear. Additional exterior highlights include a powered sunroof, double-pane side glass, soft-close doors, a power antenna, headlight wipers, and rear parking aerials.

Factory equipment includes traction control and ventilated disc brakes at all four corners. The brake pads have been replaced within the last two years, and recent maintenance also involved tire rotation and flushing of the power steering and brake fluids.

Inside, the cabin is accented with Zebrano wood trim and offers amenities such as power-adjustable front seats with position memory, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, and a Bose sound system. The leather-wrapped steering wheel surrounds a replacement instrument cluster featuring a 160-mph speedometer, tachometer, analog clock, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, instant fuel economy, and fuel level.

The seats show some wear—the driver’s seat upholstery is worn, and the driver’s seat belt is stained. Additionally, the cassette stereo is non-functional, and directional slats from a cabin air vent are missing.

The six-digit odometer currently reads 166,000 miles, all of which were accumulated under the current owner. The total mileage prior to this is unknown. The 3.2-liter inline-six engine was originally rated at 228 horsepower and 229 lb-ft of torque. The car passed a Nevada emissions inspection in July 2025, and the most recent service at 166,000 miles included an oil change and air filter replacement. Corrosion is visible on some underhood components.

The accompanying Carfax report is clean, showing no accidents or other reported damage. The Nevada title lists “Exempt” under the Odometer Brand heading.

Included with the sale are the owner’s manual, two keys, a replacement hood ornament, and the maintenance booklet. This 1992 Mercedes-Benz 300SE is offered by the seller at no reserve. Dings and scratches on the body are highlighted in the photos provided below.
