How to Complete the “Eyes in the Sky” Mission in Arc Raiders
Eyes in the Sky is one of the more elaborate missions you’ll encounter in Arc Raiders. During this quest, Shani asks you to take the LiDAR Scanners you previously recovered at the Spaceport and place three of them at the highest points in different regions. This will allow her to spy on what Arc is up to.
You’ll need to ascend to three of the tallest points located in Dam Battlegrounds, Spaceport, and Buried City. While one of these locations is quite straightforward, the other two require a bit more effort, including using a zipline gadget for the last placement.
1. Dam Battlegrounds: Install a LiDAR Scanner on Top of the Control Tower
The first LiDAR Scanner must be placed atop the Control Tower, found just south of the center of Dam Battlegrounds.
Here’s how to get there:
- Enter through the main entrance of the Control Tower.
- Take the left path inside the building, passing by the locked Dam Staff Room door.
- Turn right and continue down the walkway.
- Go through the door ahead and look for a breachable door on your left that leads into an elevator shaft equipped with a zipline.
Tip: Before ascending, shoot the turrets above you to avoid getting blasted during your climb.
Zipline to the top, follow the corridor onto the roof, and place the LiDAR Scanner on the tripod located at the east corner—look for the yellow prompt.
2. Spaceport: Install a LiDAR Scanner on Top of the Communications Tower
This placement is the easiest of the three. Simply head to the Communications Tower in the east section of the Spaceport.
Use the ladder to climb up the tower, then proceed right along the walkway. You will find the tripod where you can place the second LiDAR Scanner.
3. Buried City: Install a LiDAR Scanner on Top of the Galleria Sign
The final scanner is the trickiest to place, as it requires the use of a zipline. Shani will have given you one at the start of the quest, so make sure to bring it with you.
Follow these steps:
- Head to the rooftop of the Galleria, located in the east-center of Buried City. This building is notable for its large pillar topped with a symbol resembling the letter Q.
- Once outside near the top of the building, move to the southeast side and jump across using the wooden planks jutting out.
- Approach the pillar with the Q symbol and aim your zipline up to the walkway on top of it, then zip up.
You’ll find the final tripod at the top, where you can place the last LiDAR Scanner to complete the mission.
