**Masterpiece on PBS Releases First Trailer for Season 6 of *Miss Scarlet***
PBS’s Masterpiece has unveiled the first trailer for Season 6 of *Miss Scarlet*, ahead of its highly anticipated premiere on December 7. This season sees Eliza Scarlet (played by Kate Phillips) thriving in her detective business, while navigating new and complex challenges in her personal life.
Eliza attempts to follow her heart as she explores a relationship with Inspector Alexander Blake (Tom Durant-Pritchard). Though she is an expert at solving crimes, Eliza remains a novice when it comes to love. The trailer features a voiceover warning Eliza: “Some advice, do not make the mistake of trusting in a man. They will always put their own needs above ours.” This sets the tone for a season where Eliza must juggle the demanding crossroads of her personal and professional lives.
Joining Kate Phillips as the Victorian-era private detective is Sam Buchanan, who portrays Detective George Willows—an ambitious new addition to Scotland Yard, having risen through the police ranks. Grace Hogg-Robinson also joins the cast as Isabel Summers, a determined young woman who starts working in the Clerical Office alongside Ivy.

Joining this season’s adventures in his greatly anticipated return is Moses Valentine, who swoops in to help Eliza and her crew just when they need him most.”
*Miss Scarlet* is created by Rachael New and written by Rachael New and Ben Edwards. The executive producers are Harvey Myman, Susanne Simpson, Jin Ishimoto, Patrick Irwin, Ben Edwards, Patty Lenahan Ishimoto, and Rachael New. Irish co-producer Jim Duggan and Serbian co-producer Anđelija Vlaisavljević also contribute to the production. The senior series producer for Masterpiece is Erin Delaney.
*Miss Scarlet* will premiere on December 7, with a broadcast premiere scheduled for January 11 at 8/7c on PBS. This airing will immediately precede the Season 6 premiere of *All Creatures Great and Small*.
