Bridgeport Downtown Special Services District Launches Arcade Winter Market
BRIDGEPORT – The Bridgeport Downtown Special Services District (DSSD) is excited to announce the opening of the Arcade Winter Market, starting Thursday, November 13, at the Arcade Mall. This inaugural market will operate from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursdays and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays through December 20, excluding the week of Thanksgiving.
The market will feature warm drinks, artisan gifts, fresh produce, local bites, live music, engaging activities, and welcoming spaces designed for community connection.
“We love to connect community members with their favorite vendors and craft makers, local farmers, talented Bridgeport musicians, and thought-provoking programming for all ages,” said Lauren Coakley Vincent, President and CEO of Bridgeport DSSD. “The Arcade Winter Market will establish and grow a destination to taste and experience the creativity of local entrepreneurs, welcome visitors, and encourage people to explore the neighborhood we know and love.”
Kickoff Event
The Winter Market season will kick off on Thursday, November 13, with live music by indie singer-songwriter Chris Cavaliere and engaging arts activities led by Robin Gilmore Jopp. Visitors can enjoy a full schedule of vendors, performers, arts activities, entrepreneur meetups, and other programming.

Additionally, the Bridgeport DSSD and Bridgeport Farmers Market Collaborative accept SNAP/EBT, WIC, Farmers Market Nutrition Program checks (for WIC and senior recipients), Bridgeport Bucks, as well as cash, credit, and debit payments at the Downtown Bridgeport Farmers Market.
