Nate Bargatze To Host “The Greatest Average American”

Disney has announced exciting details about a brand-new game show titled **“The Greatest Average American”**, set to premiere on ABC and Hulu in 2026.

**“The Greatest Average American”** is a hilarious game show that celebrates the charm of being perfectly average. Contestants will compete for the ultimate grand prize: the average American salary of $67,920. In the end, one lucky player will be crowned the Greatest Average American.

The show will be hosted by **Nate Bargatze**, a bestselling author, podcaster, director, and producer. Nate has previously hosted the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards on CBS as well as “Saturday Night Live.” According to Pollstar’s recent report, he is currently the No. 1-earning comedian in the world and ranks No. 12 in overall live tour ticket sales, putting him alongside music legends like Coldplay, Madonna, and U2.
