Brown Girl Claims the US Will Be Theirs When Whites Die Off

The young woman in the clip, who appears both misinformed and influenced by radical ideology, claims that the USA is her land. Unfortunately, there are many others who share this belief—that the land was stolen from them. However, the historical facts tell a different story.

The United States paid for this land. It was settled and developed by American pioneers and settlers, most of whom were European immigrants. The country’s beauty and productivity are thanks to people who came here to assimilate as Americans. Meanwhile, many regions south of the border and in other parts of the world suffer from hardship due to their own internal circumstances. Now, some want to claim our land, which was won and developed through great sacrifice.

I am tired of the constant gaslighting on this issue. We need to confront the truth head-on.

This young woman is not a genius, and many readers may not realize the extent to which the ideology she represents is taught both in the US and Mexico. Movements like La Reconquista promote the idea that the land was stolen and that it rightfully belongs to them. However, when Europeans arrived in what is now the United States, there were no unified Indian nations—only scattered tribes, many of whom were nomadic. Some tribes were friendly; others were hostile. Essentially, much of the land could be considered open or unsettled.

This radical ideology, often associated with La Raza, has been adopted by communist groups aiming to overturn history, specifically the 1848 Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo. During the Mexican-American War, the U.S. defeated Mexico—whose lands had originally been conquered from Spain—and afterward, the U.S. returned roughly half of the land and paid $15 million for the territories it retained.

Despite this, some Mexican groups want to reclaim all of that land. This movement, known as Aztlán or La Reconquista, advocates the “decolonization” of the southwestern United States. While La Raza claims to be a peaceful movement, La Raza Unida, a youth gang, openly rejects that claim. Both groups share the same ultimate goal but differ in their methods.

Compounding the issue, gang members often enter the country illegally, swelling their ranks. Moreover, Reconquista groups have infiltrated organizations advocating for open borders, complicating immigration debates.

The agenda of Hispanic separatist movements in the Southwest was clearly expressed by José Ángel Gutiérrez—then an Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Texas at Arlington and a former leader of La Raza Unida—who said: “We have an aging white America. They are dying. It’s a matter of time. The explosion is in our population.”

Justice Sonia Sotomayor once worked as a lawyer affiliated with La Raza, underscoring the movement’s influence.

Although the clip referenced is 20 years old, its message remains relevant. Many today are not as straightforward as this young woman, but the underlying issues she raises continue to circulate.

It is crucial to recognize and address these narratives with facts and clarity rather than allowing misguided ideologies to distort our shared history.
