1964 Chevrolet Corvair 95 Greenbrier 8-Door 4-Speed at No Reserve

This 1964 Chevrolet Corvair 95 Greenbrier is a unique eight-door van that combines classic style with practical features. Previously displayed at the Automotive Hall of Fame in Dearborn, Michigan, it was acquired by the current selling dealer in 2020.

Powered by an air-cooled 164ci flat-six engine paired with a four-speed manual transaxle, this van delivers a factory-rated 95 horsepower. It rides on black-finished 14″ steel wheels with styled covers, wrapped in 195/75 Uniroyal Tiger Paw AWP II narrow-whitewall tires. The vehicle features a fully independent suspension with front and rear coil springs, and drum brakes on all four corners.

Finished in a striking blue and white two-tone paint scheme, the van’s exterior showcases several distinctive details. These include quad headlights, dual side mirrors, white-painted bumpers, quarter-panel air vents positioned above the rear wheels, and optional left-side load doors complementing the standard right-side doors and ambulance-style rear doors. Some bubbling paint and minor imperfections are visible, as shown in the accompanying gallery.

Inside, the front cab is equipped with a black vinyl bench seat, black carpeting, and a Chevrolet-branded AM radio. The door panels were repainted beige in 2024, adding a fresh touch to the interior. Additional features include a locking glovebox, a dome light, and a two-spoke steering wheel positioned before a horizontal 100-mph speedometer and fuel gauge. The five-digit odometer reads approximately 62,000 miles, with around 60 miles added by the selling dealer. Visible wear on the steering wheel and other interior components is documented in the photos.

The rear passenger compartment offers three rows of bench seating, with two benches facing each other to maximize passenger space. Upholstery throughout is black vinyl, maintaining a cohesive and classic look.

Mechanical upkeep was attended to in preparation for sale, including the replacement of the battery and spark plugs, as well as an oil change. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via the four-speed manual transaxle, providing an engaging driving experience.

This 1964 Chevrolet Corvair 95 Greenbrier, previously listed on Bring a Trailer in June 2025, is now offered at no reserve with a clean Florida title. An image of the van during its time at the Automotive Hall of Fame is displayed above for reference.

If you’re seeking a rare and historically significant van with classic appeal and practical features, this Corvair 95 Greenbrier is an exceptional opportunity.
