BLOOMINGTON, IND. — The Wisconsin football team didn’t shock the world with an upset victory over No. 2 Indiana on Saturday, Nov. 15, but did the Badgers prove a point?
UW lost to the Hoosiers, 31-7, at Memorial Stadium, but not before giving Indiana headaches in the first half. The 29½-point underdogs were tied with the Hoosiers, 7-7, late in the first half before allowing 17 points in four possessions, losing their grip on the contest.
The loss drops the Badgers to 3-7 overall and 1-6 in the Big Ten with two games remaining.
