A short time after Jets head coach Aaron Glenn finished conducting his weekly day-after-the-game Zoom call with reporters on Monday—in this case, rehashing Sunday’s 34-10 home loss to the Dolphins—I texted Post colleague Brian Costello, our Jets beat writer.
“What are you thinking of writing today?” I asked, so we could coordinate our coverage for the day.
“Muddled quarterback situation,” he replied.
It was then that it occurred to me that this conundrum has been a constant theme for the Jets—reason No. 1 for their annual lack of success for what feels like decades.
