Notre Dame defeats West Windsor-Plainsboro – Boys ice hockey recap

Mike Kuzma scored three goals to lead Notre Dame to a 10-3 victory over West Windsor-Plainsboro at Mercer County Park in West Windsor Township.

Notre Dame (2-7) took control early, building a 5-2 lead in the opening period. The team continued its strong performance by adding three more goals in the second period and two in the third, sealing a decisive win.

In addition to Kuzma’s hat trick, Nicholas Polly contributed one goal and three assists, while Tommy Carpenter added three assists. Nathan Sevinsky also had a notable game, recording one goal and two assists. Goalie Colin Beauchmin was solid in net, making 35 saves on 38 shots.

Other goal scorers for Notre Dame included Grant Barush, Mikey Cascella, Colin Wright, and Christopher Bruno.

On the West Windsor-Plainsboro side (3-7), Aditya Rath led the team with two goals and one assist. Koh Inoue scored the team’s other goal, while Louis Barrandon provided two assists and Russell Brunkovsky added one.
