Cole Kmet Ruled Out For the Rest of Week 9

The Chicago Bears will be without tight end Cole Kmet for the rest of their Week 9 game against the Cincinnati Bengals. And early in the third quarter, the Bears announced Kmet would not return: #Bears TE Cole Kmet has been ruled OUT. https://t.co/TIaEutTP0d— Bears Communications (@BearsPR) November 2, 2025 This is a bummer for Cole Kmet, who missed his first game last week when he missed the Week 8 loss to the Baltimore Ravens with a back injury. To see him come back was encouraging. But to see him go down with an injury and be ruled out at the start of the third stings. We’ll monitor his progress throughout the coming week. In the meantime, the Bears will turn more snaps over to Colston Loveland and Durham Smythe.
