**Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal to Receive Dadasaheb Phalke Award**

The Government of India has announced that the legendary actor, director, and producer Mohanlal (65) will be honored with the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award for the year 2023. This decision comes on the recommendation of the Dadasaheb Phalke Award Selection Committee.
The Dadasaheb Phalke Award is India’s highest honor in cinema, recognizing lifetime contributions to the Indian film industry.
**Mohanlal’s Remarkable Career**
With a career spanning over four decades, Mohanlal has inspired generations with his unmatched versatility and artistic brilliance. Some of his most popular and critically acclaimed films include *Drishyam*, *Iruvar*, *T. P. Balagopalan M. A.*, *Kireedam*, and *Bharatham*.
Over the years, Mohanlal has been the recipient of numerous honors including the prestigious Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan awards.
The Dadasaheb Phalke Award will be presented to him at the 71st National Film Awards ceremony scheduled for September 23, 2025.

Recently, Mohanlal was seen in the film *Hridayapoorvam*, which garnered mixed to positive reviews. The movie is set to premiere on JioHotstar on September 26.
