**Indian Streaming Academy Awards 2025: ‘Panchayat’ and ‘Chamkila’ Among Major Winners**

The second edition of the Indian Streaming Academy Awards was held on Saturday night at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai, celebrating the vibrant and rapidly growing OTT ecosystem in India. The event honored outstanding achievements across storytelling, performances, sound design, editing, and cinematography in web series and films.
### Major Winners
In the Hindi category, *Panchayat* secured the prestigious Best Series award, while *Poacher* was recognized as the Best Series in the Non-Hindi segment. Acclaimed director Jai Mehta received the Best Director award for his work on *Aarya*. *Panchayat* also won accolades for acting, with Saanvika taking home Best Supporting Actress (Series).
### Film Honors and Technical Awards
The Best Web Original Film in Hindi went to *Amar Singh Chamkila*, which dominated the film categories alongside the non-Hindi winner *Chaalchitra Ekhon*. The documentary *Yo Yo Honey Singh: Famous* was also celebrated during the ceremony.
On the technical front, Sylvester Fonseca won Best Cinematographer (Film) for *Amar Singh Chamkila*, and Johan Heurlin Aidt was honored as Best Cinematographer (Series) for *Poacher*.
### Excellence in Production and Music
*Panchayat*’s Chandan Kumar earned Best Original Story (Series), while *Heeramandi* was awarded Best Production Design (Series). The legendary A.R. Rahman won Best Original Soundtrack (Film) for *Amar Singh Chamkila*, with Ana Rehman receiving the same accolade for *Bandish Bandits*.
In the non-Hindi film category, Anjan Dutt won Best Director for *Chaalchitra Ekhon*. The Best Non-fiction Original Series/Special was awarded to *Telugu Indian Idol*. Additionally, Roshan Mathew from *Poacher* was recognized as Best Actor Popular (Series).

The event also highlighted performances by popular actors such as Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan, who were honored for their contributions to India’s streaming content.
