**Indian Streaming Academy Awards 2025: ‘Panchayat,’ ‘Chamkila’ Among Major Winners**

The second edition of the Indian Streaming Academy Awards was held on Saturday night at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. Celebrating India’s rapidly growing OTT ecosystem, the awards recognized excellence across various facets including storytelling, performances, sound design, editing, and cinematography.
This year, *Amar Singh Chamkila* and *Poacher* emerged as dominant winners in their respective categories. Alongside them, popular actors like Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan were also honored for their remarkable performances.
### Major Winners: Series
*Panchayat* won the Best Series award in the Hindi category, while *Poacher* took home the same accolade in the Non-Hindi category. Director Jai Mehta was awarded Best Director for the series *Aarya*. Additionally, Saanvika received the Best Supporting Actress (Series) award for her role in *Panchayat*.
### Film Honors: Web Originals and Technical Categories
In the web original film segment, *Amar Singh Chamkila* was declared Best Web Original Film (Hindi), whereas *Chaalchitra Ekhon* bagged the award in the Non-Hindi category. The documentary *Yo Yo Honey Singh: Famous* also received recognition.
On the technical front, Sylvester Fonseca won Best Cinematographer (Film) for *Amar Singh Chamkila*. Johan Heurlin Aidt was honored with Best Cinematographer (Series) for his work on *Poacher*.
### Technical Triumphs: Production Design, Soundtrack, and Story
The award for Best Original Story (Series) went to Chandan Kumar for *Panchayat*. *Heeramandi* was recognized for Best Production Design (Series).
In the music department, A.R. Rahman won Best Original Soundtrack (Film) for *Amar Singh Chamkila*. Ana Rehman received the same for *Bandish Bandits*.
For the Non-Hindi categories, Anjan Dutt won Best Director (Film) for *Chaalchitra Ekhon*. The Best Non-fiction Original Series/Special was awarded to Telugu *Indian Idol*. Roshan Mathew from *Poacher* earned the Best Actor Popular (Series) honor.
