RBI strengthens grievance system to improve complaint resolution and services

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is in the process of revamping its consumer grievance redressal system.

This update will include the incorporation of Rural Co-operative banks under the RBI’s Ombudsman scheme.

The move aims to enhance the grievance redressal mechanism, ensuring better and more efficient resolution of consumer complaints across a wider range of banking institutions.
