Local athletes Eryk Omandam and Natasha Doromal-Lim emerged victorious in the inaugural Damosa Land 5150 Triathlon held on Samal Island, besting a strong international field and sharing the spotlight on Sunday.
The 20-year-old Omandam completed the challenging race—consisting of a 1.5-kilometer swim, 40-kilometer bike ride, and 10-kilometer run—in an impressive time of 2 hours, 20 minutes, and 24 seconds. He dominated the men’s division, showcasing exceptional endurance and skill throughout the event.
