**PHOENIX — A 33-year-old woman was pronounced dead following a shooting near 43rd Avenue and Bell Road in Phoenix on Thursday.**
According to a police release, officers arrived at the scene around 12:16 p.m. and found Elizabeth Powell suffering from at least one gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
No information regarding a suspect has been released, and detectives are actively investigating the incident.
