SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Ryan Beasley scored 23 points to lead San Francisco to an 80-70 victory over Portland State on Wednesday.
Beasley was efficient from the floor, shooting 8 for 14, including 3 for 8 from three-point range, and went 4 of 6 from the free-throw line for the Dons (2-1). Mookie Cook contributed 13 points and pulled down five rebounds, while Tyrone Riley IV and Vukasin Masic each added 11 points.
Portland State (1-2) was paced by Jaylin Henderson, who finished with 18 points and six assists. Tre-Vaughn Minott posted a double-double with 16 points and 13 rebounds, and Sebastian Tidor chipped in 11 points for the Vikings.
Up next, San Francisco will host Bradley on Saturday, while Portland State is set to take on CSU Bakersfield at home on Monday.
