There are hardly any surprises as RCB have retained most of their big names, including skipper Rajat Patidar, Virat Kohli, Devdutt Padikkal, Phil Salt, Jitesh Sharma, Krunal Pandya, Tim David, Romario Shepherd, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
Looking at the players they have released, the Bengaluru franchise have let go of batting all-rounder Liam Livingstone, who had a mixed IPL 2025 season. Other prominent names released by RCB ahead of the IPL 2026 auction include Mayank Agarwal, Tim Seifert, and Lungi Ngidi.
